The Dominion Insurance Review

The Dominion of Canada General Insurance Company is one of the oldest insurers in Canada insuring a number of things from personal managements, all the way to property and casualty as well. As of 2013 they were acquired by Travelers Canada.

Auto insurance was the first product that I came across. It is very attractive to see that a range of automobiles and cars can be insured, including private passenger autos, classic, antique, motor home and recreational. I was impressed with the number of coverage included in their policy such as up to $2,000,000 for liability, benefits for accidents like medical, rehab and attendant care, family protection, waiver of depreciation and many more.

At an overview of home insurance, I was astounded again with the different properties that can be insured. They include homeowners, condominium, tenant packages as well as home business as well. It is also very interesting to see that there are also several extra things you can obtain such as boat protection, as well as coverage for seasonal protections like cottages, rented dwellings and many more.

Basically speaking, you can rest assured that both your buildings and contents will be protected, and this includes the outbuildings as well such as sheds and detached garage. Other benefits are additional expenses, liability, and even medical expenses. With so much essential points, it is apparent that this policy can prove to be very useful.

For those that are needing a policy for their commercial related assets, business insurance is also offered. The Dominion’s products range from commercial auto, commercial property, surety, home business, and many more.

In order to get a quote or policy from The Dominion, you must first do it through a broker. I thought it was very convenient that there is a tool on their website that allows you to do just that. All you need to do is enter your postal code and you will be given a list of brokers near your area.

The next thing I had a look at was their claim process. I really liked how there is a 24 hour emergency claims service. I was also overwhelmed to see that someone will contact you within 4 business hours once the claim notification has been received.

As a whole, The Dominion truly looks like something you would be able to rely on. With the great number of policies to choose from to suit all your needs, there is no other insurer to go with.

The Dominion Insurance has been rated 4.5 out of 5 by Insurance Reviews.
