MBNA Insurance Review

MBNA is a financial company, also a division of The Toronto-Dominion Bank. They have been known for their credit cards, as well as other products like insurance. Right now the only insurance product that they offer is credit profile protection, which is to generally used to makes sure your credit and identify remains safe.

The first plan is known as Identity Protection. The feature in this plan allows you to prevent identity theft under several features. You will be able to get online access to your credit report and get alerts when signs of fraudulent activity take place before it can ruin your bank account. Most importantly, I was very impressed to know MBNA has a system that can proactively monitor, manage and protect your credit.

Looking at the price, I was surprised at how cheap it is. There is a trail cost that you can take out to test out the service to see if it is any good for free for 30 days, which I think is a very reasonable amount of time. Then if you decide to continue with it, it only costs $17.99 a month, unless you cancel within $30 days.

In the other plan offered, it is known as Balance Protection. It’s main benefits is to be able to protect your credit rating at the most unexpected times like when you lose your job or if you are disabled. You will be able to get protection for the events like accidental death, critical illness, accidental dismemberment, loss of self-employment and also involuntary unemployment.

I feel that taking out such a cover is very important because the rating of your credit can affect the future perspective of your life. To make it better, the cost for taking out a cover isn’t really that expensive as well. In fact, with only $0.99 per $100 of your average daily balance, there is no doubt you won’t have to worry about the trouble of your credit ever again.

The only criterion is that you are at least 18 years old. One thing to know is that after your 70th birthday, the only benefits that you will receive are accidental death and accidental dismemberment benefits.

To see more information about the different MBNA insurance selections, make sure you visit their website. You may even take the time there to look through several of their other products to see fi any of them will suit your needs.

MBNA Insurance has been rated 4.5 out of 5 by Insurance Reviews.
