Sun Life Insurance Review

Sun Life is an international service that deals in the area of finance and also has a base in Canada. Their commitment is to help customers around the globe to get a peace of mind when it comes to planning a security future in terms of finance. The insurances they offer revolve around health and life.

Under their health insurance, there are up to around six products available. I think the one most people would want to know more about is their personal health insurance. It comes under three plans known as Basic, Standard and Enhanced, which I think is a great way to let customers have total control on the types of benefits they would like to receive.

With just a quick summary, some of the reimbursements that you will be able to get for include prescription drugs, preventive dental, restorative dental, orthodontics, supplemental healthcare, vision, emergency travel, as well as many other optional benefits. What you can claim differs from different plans, but in my opinion the one I like the most is the Enhanced plan is because everything is included.

Another health related product that has been proven to be very popular is critical illness insurance. I really liked the two plans they offered known as SunSpectrum Basic Critical Illness Insurance, and Sun Critical Illness Insurance. My favorite one has got to be the latter one because it up to 25 illnesses can offer you a payout. Up to 4 can give you a partial payout, and up to 5 childhood illnesses can be covered for.

Having a look at the full payout illnesses, they included a lot of the common ones like cancer, coma, deafness, loss of limbs and many more. The only thing to note about this insurance is that to be able to be insured you must be at least 18 year old, but this is reasonable.

Dwelling in their life insurance, again, around six plans were offered, however some of them also fell under their health insurance category. Generally speaking, three life insurance exists; Term, Permanent and Universal Life. The one that impressed me the most is the Universal plan because it a typically a lifetime protection that. The advantage over tis plan is that it is a flexible way to combine long term life insurance with the opportunity for tax-deferred savings.
