I was awestruck to see four different life insurance plans. They come in Guaranteed Issue Life Insurance, Easy Issue Life Insurance, Term Life Insurance and FollowMe Life Insurance. Of all four, no doubt the most popular product is the term cover because it is affordable and is an easy way to protect your future.

The term cover was made for people between 18 and 70 years old, which should be the majority of the population. The features in their plans that I found to be very beneficial are being able to be protected up to $1,000,000, which is obvious to see that it is a lot. For those that does not smoke, it is also great to see that you will be able to save up to 50% in your premium, which in its own way can also stop more people from smoking.

Something interesting that I really liked is that there is a way for you to covert your policy to a permanent life insurance policy as well, however this can only be done before you are 70 years old.

I also enjoyed seeing about their critical illness insurance. One very flattering thing about this plan is that if you are not satisfied you will be able to have your entire premium refunded with no questions asked. Depending on the plan you choose, you will be able to get paid up to $75,000 which as anyone can tell is a very large amount.

I was impressed with all the illnesses that are covered such as stroke, cancer and heart attack. Moreover, coronary artery bypass surgery and aortic surgery are also included.

Travel insurance can also be classified as a type of health insurance. It is good to know that there are plans for travellers from Canada, travellers coming to Canada, as well as policies made perfect for students.

Looking at the features for Canadian citizens, you are able to claim on healthcare costs while travelling, as well as coverage for your baggage, travel accidents, cancellations and many more.
